Patrick has been in venture for many years at Prosus, one of the largest VC groups in the world investing and mentoring in machine learning, synthetic biology, and more across multiple industries and almost every continent. He has more than 20 years of experience as an operator and leader in data science and a decade in leading finance and tech companies. He also has space tech experience with the X-Prize and researching comets with infrared spectroscopy in academia. He has raised money for start-ups as an entrepreneur, scaled them as an executive at Trulia, and worked at large tech companies such as Google. Aside from tech, Patrick was a VP of analytics at Northern Trust Bank including work at Moody’s, Fannie Mae, Bank of America, Salomon Smith Barney, and Mellon Bank. In finance, he has worked on Wall St and at big banks in equities, bonds, mortgages, and risk capital. Patrick’s academic career spans masters and PhD programs in mathematics, statistics, actuarial science, finance, and accounting from the Haas and Wharton Schools of Business
