Erikan has 3 years experience in molecular techniques including Genomics, transcriptomics, proteinomics and Metabolomics and currently a MSc Student in Molecular and Cell biology. He coordinate the ambassador program at Synbio Africa championing the growth of synthetic biology across all regions in Africa. He volunteered with internationally Genetically Engineered Machine (iGEM) as an Ambassador to Africa in helping to coordinate and mentor young scientists in Synthetic biology. He also volunteer with Just One Giant Lab as an Ambassador to Africa in helping scientists understand the JOGL space and how to embrace Open science.
