On 23rd June 2020, Otim Geoffrey, the Founder and Coordinator, SynBio Africa had the pleasure to be interviewed by the WHO Collaborating center for Health Technology Senior Advisor, Prof. Rossana Rivas Tarazona on the Health and Innovation Programme.
“The interview was aimed at discussing the Impact of Health Technology Quality Assurance for medical laboratories. I also had the chance to give my overview and recommendation on the current testing strategy of COVID-19 and to advocate for the recognition of Medical Laboratory professionals globally in the government/INGO healthcare system. I hope that my message will create a global impact and a new outlook towards the neglected Medical Laboratory professionals/scientists.” said Otim.
